You'll Love These 3 Looks Designed By Popular Beauty Expert Saba Poonawala

It is difficult to look fresh all the time, we know the struggle. Running to a salon every now and then is not a feasible option. We collaborated with popular hair and make-up stylist Saba Poonawala, owner of the popular La Belle Salon & Bridal Studio in Camp, and she designed three wonderful looks for us to sport during this time. Saba, who is a certified professional make-up and hair stylist makes sure all her products are organic, not tested on animals and reusable. Her salon recycles all the waste material that comes out of these beauty procedures.

These three looks are suitable for workplace, second for casual outings or even a first date, and the third one for an occasion or a party. Using her skills and in-depth knowledge about make-up, she showed us how to look gorgeous and make heads turn.

The first was a quintessential work look where I wore a smart, crisp semi-formal off-white dress. In this look, I am given a sleek hairdo where my hair is straightened and face is highlighted in nude shades of pink. Simple and classy, this look is something you can sport when going out for semi-formal functions and corporate seminars as well.

The second one is a boho look that emits fun and flirty vibes. For this, she changed my lip colour to a darker shade and used kohl and liner, giving a sleek wing. I wore a gown which can be sported while going out on a date or for a fun evening with friends. The outfit has a casual vibe, hence I let my hair down and sported beach waves. 

The final look is apt for high-end parties, you can sport the look she designed for me. I wore an A-line black gown with slightly embellished fabric. Giving me a black swan look, she gave a gorgeous smokey eye using black eye shadow with a tinge of red. While the eyes were highlighted in the look, lips were given a dark marsala shade, which complemented the whole look.

If you are someone who does not know the ABC of make-up and styling but wish to learn, Saba frequently conducts one-on-one make-up and styling tutorials as well as group workshops where you are taught about make-up from scratch. The workshops are fun, informative and include material and refreshments. One needs to be presentable at the workplace, and understanding this need, she also conducts these workshops for corporates and several offices.
