Tell Me More
Started by Deodatta Phadke, a young and enthusiastic Pastry Chef, Le Boulangerie’s menu changes monthly {for their day-specials} and weekly {for their late-night specials}, so there’s always something new and exciting to try. The specialities here are their traditional Parisian-style macarons {made with almond flour and egg-whites}, croissants, breakfast pastries, and breads. They don’t repeat the same flavours in their macarons twice, so you can always expect an exciting new flavour to try – such as coconut, salted caramel praline, peanut butter Gianduja, or Bailey’s Irish cream {to name a few}.
Everything they serve here is made in-house, and fresh – with no preservatives. Their day-menu {from 5pm – 10pm} features a list of coffees – including their own custom-blend with Blue Tokai – and sparkling summer drinks to cool off with. Sandwiches, wedges, and french fries make up the eats; and are substantial enough for a quick meal. On the shelves, you’ll find puff pastries, muffins, biscotti, and other baked products. Mousse cakes, customised cakes, eclairs, and tarts can be undertaken on special order. They even provide desserts to the ‘strictly non-veg’ restaurant, I Am Lion!
Anything Else?
What you really shouldn’t miss out on, are their late night specials {served after 10pm} like fish and chips, mac ‘n cheese, etc. They also plan to launch a selection of cheesecakes, tiramisu, eclairs, and other French pastries on their day-menu. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram for all the tastiest updates.
