LKD (La Kheer Deli): LKD has set a different level of competition in Desserts by serving only one dessert in a different flavour. Yeah, you read it correct only one Dessert in different flavours i.e. Kheer. Who would have thought that a simple homemade delicacy will be a huge game-changer? Yeah, Kheer is having a different kind of followers but when your kheer is coming in the flavours you love then its a boon for you. LKD serves the kheer with their twists of flavours and with their love, really their kheers are scrumptious.
I'll like to start it with my own story about my connection with LKD family. Almost 2.5 years back, I and my bestie Akshay had heard about LKD which was present in Aundh. As a food lover, we decided to visit it and we travelled about 25km from Magarpatta to Aundh on Tuesday evening just to have kheer. We reached there and were unable to find the store, then I called the LKD from Zomato and We get to know that they are only serving on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that too at 7 to 11. Yeah, a big disappointment but again we decided to give a try on Friday. And We reached at the same place on Friday at 7:15, again there was no store named LKD and we were about to get disappointed, soon Akshay saw a moving stall named LKD coming in front of Starbucks store. That's how we met LKD a moving stall with awesome lightings and boards.
Finally, we talked with the owner and tell him about our last journey. He was amazed that we came far from 25km for them. He was very kind. We started the kheer with Gulkand and Nutella Oreo. Yeah after opening the kheer cup and mixing it well, we were dying to have 1st bite and it was just mind-blowing. The flavour of Gulkand was so perfectly blended with our daily rice kheer, also was containing lots of rose petals in it. Perfectly yummy. Then talking about Nutella Oreo then it was containing a lot of Nutella and oreo biscuits crush in kheer. The Nutella was giving it a sweet creamy flavour to the kheer and the oreo is balancing it with its crunchiness. Then we ate Chocolate Brownie and Dry Fruit kheer. The Chocolate brownie kheer was containing the brownie pieces in it, and the taste was awesome. Talking about Dry Fruit kheer then yeah it was overloaded with lots of dry fruits and tastes Delicious. We almost ended up by eating 8 kheers and listening to the story of LKD journey with Owner. That's how we get connected to LKD.
