What Makes It Awesome?

After living in Allahabad for 5 years and after visiting Banaras three times I was desperately craving for the authentic North Indian (Banaras) taste here in Pune. After visiting list recipes my hunt for the authentic taste has now come to an end. From the delicious golgappe to the authentic thalis, lost recipes has it all.

I tried their, Kulhad Chai, which reminded me of the heavenly feeling of sipping hot kulhad ki chai in the cold weather OF UP. Their gol gappe is surely different from the regular ones you get in Pune and you need to try them at least once. The Farra, a delicious fried snack made of daal drilling and coated with either rice flour or bajra. They taste super delicious, Crunchy and very appetizing.

The potato wheels were equally amazing. Coming to their authentic thalis, the veg thali had daal batati, sweet, 2 different sabzis, Kadhi and rice. Every dish tasted delicious, it was very well prepared to keep in the authentic taste and flavours.

The chicken thali was my personal favourite. Everything was prepared from ghee, the chicken gravy, the rice and the rotis were poured with lots of ghee which gave it a very smooth texture and delicious taste.
The chicken had a homely feel to it.

Coming to the deserts, the laung Lata, a fried sweet dish was crispy and full of authenticity. The place is surely a must-visit if u want to have some authentic flavours of Banaras.

The place also has some super interesting games and books which you can engage in while your food gets ready.
