Located in Shivajinagar, right opposite the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, the Mahatma Phule Museum was first established in 1890 as the Poona Industrial Museum. It was renamed in 1968 as the Mahatma Phule Museum. Inside, you'll find a fascinating collection of oil paintings, brassware, stone carvings, and marble statues—each piece offering a glimpse into India's rich artistic and cultural legacy. One of the highlights is their impressive library, which houses age-old scriptures and a rare collection of books that are sure to leave history buffs spellbound.
