About Malaka Spice
What Makes It Awesome
Malaka Spice in Koregaon Park, one of Pune's most lively and trendy neighbourhoods, is perhaps one of the most iconic South-East Asian restaurants in Pune. Located in lane number 5, this charming restaurant boasts a gorgeous al fresco setting under a canopy of colourful hanging umbrellas and Chinese lanterns. The outdoor section features wrought-iron furniture and potted plants. The open, relaxed setting is part of the appeal for many diners. The restaurant is ideal for a weekend brunch with friends and family or a date night with bae as you dine on food from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan.
Malaka Spice KP is known for its farm-to-table philosophy. You can choose from an array of aromatic curries, satays, stir-fries, and noodle dishes on the menu. Try their Pho Chiru Soup, a Vietnamese speciality made of star anise, basil, coriander, and mutton, and the mouthwatering Lotus Stem Tango with honey and chilli sauce. Meat lovers should try their Mandarin duck, made in an exotic honey and orange sauce, and tossed with sliced chillies, litchi, and pineapple. If you’re not a fan of sweet flavours, go for a Malaka Thai red curry with sticky rice, which can be shared between two and three people.
