This Infinity Pool With A Gorgeous View Is The Getaway Of Your Dreams

Mawi Infinitty Villa is a luxury holiday property, nestled in the sylvan hills of the Western Ghats. Overlooking Pawna lake, it’s the perfect blend of ‘comfort with luxury’, where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The property is located at Kolechafesar on Pawna Lake, which is a 2.5 hr drive from Pune, and 45 minutes from Lonavala. It’s on the same road as the Hilton Shilim Resort, The Machan, and Club Mahindra – except that Mawi Infinitty is situated closest to the lake. There is no public transport here, so you will have to bring your own vehicle {or hire one}. The entry road up to the villa isn’t very good – and is ideal for high-clearance vehicles. If you have any difficulty accessing the location, the staff at Mawi Infinity are happy to help you out.

We loved the property which is literally surrounded by nature on all sides and has been designed to allow maximum light and natural ventilation in all the dwellings. The accommodation is divided into two villas – an upper, and a lower villa – equipped with all the creature comforts you can imagine, and then some.

The upper villa faces Pawna lake and has a beautiful outdoor deck that overlooks the garden. The lower villa opens out onto the swimming pool {which is an infinity pool, FYI} and heated jacuzzi, with the other located below the swimming pool deck. Between the two villas, 14-16 guests can be accommodated {they have sofa-cum-beds}, and you can either rent a room or the entire villa for yourself.

The lake is just a short walk away from the house, and you can fish, swim, or have a picnic arranged for – with mats, picnic baskets and even a tent! If you’re up for some grilling, their own BBQ set can be provided on request {we suggest you inform them ahead of your trip}. For the outdoorsy adventurous kind, Tung Fort is located right behind the property – should you feel up for a trek! If you want to head out for some amusement – Imagica is an hour away, Della Adventure Park is 40 minutes away, and scenic Tiger’s Point is 30 minutes away.

Prices here are steeper than your average B&B or resort – but then again, there’s nothing average about Mawi Infinitty Villas. We recommend watching the sunset over Pawna lake from the comfort of their heated jacuzzi – it’s the ultimate way to unwind. Book via their website here, or here.
