What Is It?

Set at a beautiful lush green backdrop of Thakusai village, on the banks of Pawna Lake in Lonavala, Camp Deogadh owned by Annabelle Desylva, is a lesser-known tented camping ground, about an hour away from Pune.

How Do I Get There?

Camp Deogadh is located at Thakursai-Aajiwali Road in the Maval Taluka. Simply put, it’s near Pawna Lake at Lonavala. We suggest you to drive down to Lonavala, reach Tikona Fort and trek down to the campsite. If you are not sure about the route, get in touch with the Camp Deogadh group here, chalk out a plan and head out with them!

What Is Awesome About It?

Camp Deogadh is untapped, unexplored and unspoilt. It’s a gorgeous campsite with panaromic views of the Tungi Fort and the Pawna Lake. The camping ground is well-equipped with toilets, showers, sleeping bags and tents. What more? There’s a team of local chefs who will cook you a delicious range of authentic Maharashtrain delicacies.

Besides the space, the campsite ropes in artists from Mumbai and Pune to introduce and organise creative activities for the guests. Basically there’s no scope for getting ‘bored’ out here. From theatre workshops to open-air jamming, stand-up comedy and poetry reading, the entertainment is top notch. However, don’t expect loud music and an unruly party scene. It’s a quiet serene place and it deserves to be kept just the way it is!

So we’re saying, take a day off and visit this exotic campsite with your close buds. Watch the beautiful sunset or go on an adventurous trek to Tikona Fort and Bedse Caves or simply take a dip in to the cool clear waters of Lake Pavna. You’re absolutely sold? Then give them a call at 9820045921 and book your camping trip right now!

Price: The camp will cost INR 3,000 per person for 24 hours and INR 2,500 if you are checking in and out between 4:00 pm and 11:00 am {next day}.

Anything Else?

Check out the Deogadh Homestay that is just a kilometre away from the campsite. Run by the same group, the homestay hosts barbecue nights, weddings, birthdays and anniversary celebrations.
