Sinhagad Animal Welfare and Care (SAWCT) is an organisation that is committed to rescuing and rehabilitating stray and injured animals. They have succeeded in rescuing, treating, fostering, neutering, and finding loving homes for numerous stray and homeless animals with the collaborative help of other major NGOs in Pune. To date, they have successfully facilitated the adoption of more than 500 animals. Although their primary work is based around Sinhgad Road, they have extended their support and services to animals in Kothrud, Warje, Sahakar Nagar, Katraj, Kondhwa, Mulshi, and Peth areas as needed.
