According to Dr. Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director at Maha Metro, his team has already come up with the plan and expect citizens to support and cooperate for it to be a success.
After putting in much thought and efforts, Maha Metro has come to the conclusion that Nashik Phata to Kharalwadi foot-over-bridge observes traffic jams very often. The vehicles taking the main route stands diverted to the service road and traffic there is expected to be the same.
Dr. Brijesh further revealed that the two lanes going towards Mumbai on the main road will be closed from 11am till 5pm and 11pm till 5am at night. They will however keep one route open during the rest of the time.
