There's a patisserie cum boulangerie in Viman Nagar and you must try their rustic Nonna (grandma) style desserts. You'll absolutely fall for the decadent and sinful baked goodies from Nonna's Patisserie that is also a sister venture of Largo Pizzeria.
When we say rustic desserts, we mean age-old recipes that have been given a modern twist and earthy packaging. Their cookie jars come in cute glass jars (just like a typical patisserie in Europe would package their goods in) and are available in yummy options such as gooey choco chip, twin choco, crunchy oatmeal-raisin, cinnamon-sugar, and butter! The jars start at INR 120 and the best-sellers are the red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips! Their handcrafted bread section features stuffed loaves, stuffed buns and herbed bread that you can pre-order.
Since everything is old school, we naturally had to go for their buttercream cakes, and they were so good! Nonna's Patisserie also customises them in different shapes, sizes, and themes but we're simply gushing over the rustic ombre design (INR 500 for half kg), moist cakes with vintage adornments and American buttercream icing as well as the floral cakes with marbled texture. The fruity cakes even have real fruit preserves (yummy!).
Nonna's Patisserie has special menus for festivals like Halloween, fall-theme, Christmas, etc. Other desserts include tarts, pies, fudge jars, savoury quiches, sweet and savoury buns, etc. Everything is freshly-baked and is made using freshest of ingredients.
