Persian Darbar, Pune: This Royal Eatery Will Satiate Your Mughlai Cravings!
What Makes It Awesome
Persian Darbar, Pune looks like a scene out of a royal, period drama. We are talking golden, warmly lit roofs with yellow traditional motifs printed on a white ceiling, hanging chandeliers that highlight the looming shadows of exuberant royalty reflected in their ambience. The setting is a picture out of a Mughal court- sofas with traditionally printed throws complemented by wall art that reminds us of a bygone era. Their windows are also tainted with Persian style paintings and the cutlery also summarise Persia on a plate.
Rightly named the 'Raan King Of Mumbai,' the Persian Darbar first opened its doors in 1978 and has now spread its warm hospitality across Mumbai and Pune.
