Pune's very own monsoon derby season, conducted by Royal Western India Turf Club, has already begun and will continue till October 28, 2018 at the race course in Pune Cantonment. 

What Makes It Awesome?

After a three-month gap in Western India's racing scene, Pune's monsoon derby brings much joy to horse-racing aficionados with a full-fledged tournament of 26 days of racing, spread over 13-weeks. The 118.5 acres of Pune Racecourse will see some of the biggest, much-awaited races of the season like The Southern Command Gold Trophy on September 1, SA Poonawalla Million on August 25 and September 16, Threptin Fillies and Mares Stakes on September 3 and the biggest of all, Gr 1 Pune Derby on October 14.
