Kausar Baugh

This Ramzan, you’re either fasting or simply feasting. We meandered around Kondhwa’s Kausar Baug in NIBM's galli number 2 and binged on kebabs of different kinds, haleem, nalli and lots of sweets too. This spot is a must-visit during the holy month. M.G. Road

Raan biryani, galouti kebabs, nalli nihari and halwa puri, these are some of the Ramzan staples at the food counters on M.G. Road. Beside CCD in Camp, you'll find a cluster of makeshift stalls where you must try the haleem, a delicacy made with mutton and cereals, which are cooked overnight and then garnished with fried onions, mint leaves and lemon wedges. Several kebabs and chicken variations. And, other meaty gravies and whatnot.

Wanowrie Market

The humble vegetable market in Wanowrie beside Wellness Forever turns into a food heaven during Ramzan. From mutton kebabs, to chicken lollipops,  haleem to different types of biryanis, Ramzan stalls at Wanowrie have their own appeal. You will be able to eat till your tummy bursts along with your friends.

Did you know Chinar restaurant on Baner-Pashan link road is Pune's rare gems that serve authentic Kashmiri dishes? They set up a stall every evening at 7 and serve iftar delicacies such as keema samosa, Kashmiri gosht biryani, kebabs, Kashmiri chicken, qateer, phirni among other things. Hotel Imdadi in Camp is a legend. This iconic restaurant has been a favourite spot for people to binge on iftar fare for  little over three decades. The pop-up restaurant is open for business only during Ramzan and cooks from all across India come in to dish out delicious meaty dishes you could get only during Ramzan. Chicken biryani, dalcha, kebabs reign supreme during this time. You will fall in love with the crispy fried delights. The place is also famous for giant puris that are paired up with ghee-laden halwa.
