Saffron is a sister venture by The Sassy Spoon. I tried the delivery kitchen's signature dishes and absolutely loved the taste and presentation. Everything is prepared hygienically and packed in leak-proof containters. Being a vegetarian, I tried the non-meat dishes that included beetroot tikkis, garlic-yoghurt dip, tomato shorba soup, dum aloo biryani, raita, paneer makhanwala, laccha paratha and naan. I suggest you try the succulent beet tikkis as they are melt-in-mouth, flavourful and yummy. I also loved the makhani gravy, shorba and the biryani. The flavours were on point and they contained a perfect spice balance.
You can try some small plate options such as gun powder idli, galauti kebab-kesar paratha, saffron fried chicken, butter chicken samosa, etc. We hear you must try the neer dosa-chicken Chettinaad, Bengali macher-jhol, kulhad butter chicken, Hyderabadi mutton kheema for mains. You can call them up or order via their website. A meal for two will take you back by INR 1000 but it's absolutely worth it.
