Fruzzanté has made a name for themselves by creating sparkling alcoholic beverages using locally-sourced fruits directly from nearby farms which help the regional agro-economy.
I recently tried a few of their options – mango, pineapple, strawberry and starfruit which were sourced from Konkan, Sindhudurg, Mahabaleshwar and the Sahyadris respectively.
Looking neat in a colourful and eye-catching 4-pack, the bottles’ branding is on-point. Pop one open and the aroma of the fruit hits your olfactory senses right away. Made using 100% fruits, every pint has 6% ABV, enough to hit your senses yet mild enough for everyone to enjoy.
I decided to treat it like wine – sniff, sip, swirl and swallow and it took the experience to another level. The swirling opened up the fruity notes and allowed the bubbly fizz to hit your nose.
Definitely worth a try if you want to try something different.
