What Makes It Awesome?

South Bombay Cafe located on East Street serves South Indian food with a slight Bombay twist. The food is delicious, filling, and super pocket-friendly for the quality. This place is perfect for family get-togethers or even when you want to grab a quick bite.

I tried the following dishes, and they were all delectable:

Cheese Garlic Roast Dosa - The strong flavours of garlic and cheese make this crisp dosa drool-worthy. This combination is a great hit. I loved it.

American Chopsuey Dosa - Dosa rolls stuffed with veggies in a tangy sauce. The filling was slightly sweet for my liking, none the less I enjoyed it.

Paneer Crispy Dosa - This crisp dosa has a generous filling of paneer chilli. It's the perfect choice for all Chinese food lovers out there. I would highly recommend this variant.

South Platter - A platter with golden brown dal vadas, mini idlis, and delicious medu vadas served with sambar and chutney. This one makes for a good appetiser as the quantity is small, but it still gives you offers a variety.

I also tried their Chocopie milkshake and the Mango & Fruit Parfait as a dessert. I loved the milkshake, however, the Mango & Fruit Parfait was super sweet.

What Could Be Better?

They should cut the pieces of their stuffed dosas a little smaller. It would make it easier to eat without the stuffing spilling out.

How Much Did It Cost?
