Soul purpose is a Dhaba themed rooftop restaurant serving some amazing North Indian cuisines. It's situated in Hotel Rendezvous, Shivajinagar. The ambience is quite good and perfect for a dinner date or family get together.
Talking about the food and drinks we started with Virgin Mojito. It has a perfect blend of lime and mint. Quite refreshing!
Soups:
Murgh tamatar shorba: Indian style tomato soup with minced chicken in it. Tangy and spicy, perfect for winter evenings.
Dal nimbu ka shorba: Dal nimbu shorba is a soup made with yellow moong and has a taste of sour taste of nimbu(lemon) in it.
Starters:
Murgh tikka achari: Tender pieces of chicken marinated with yoghurt and bathed in pickling spices (Achari masala). Loved it.
Gosht kakori kebab: These are delicious mutton kebabs cooked to perfection in a skewer. Highly recommend.
Main course:
Rajasthani Laal Maas: A famous Rajasthani mutton cuisine. Prepared with yoghurt and hot spices such as red Mathania chillies. It was delicious.
Paneer Peshwari: It was super delicious.
Desserts:
Flamingo Brownie: Soft chocolate brownie with a scoop of ice-cream on top served with the pouring of melted chocolate on the ice-cream. Highly recommend
Matka kulfi: Frozen kulfi served in an earthen clay pot called Matka.
