What Makes It Awesome

Pune’s street shopping game may not be grade A, but look hard enough and you’ll spot some cool things worth adding to your wardrobe. We meandered around Koregaon Park and found some things worth buying in lane one and two.

Let's talk about footwear first! Available in solid tones, you can choose from a range of different Indian footwear designs. There are Mojaris that have floral prints on the straps, while others have geometric motifs. For INR 150 onward, you can score pretty kolhapuris that’ll look great with a pair of jeans and a tee or on ethnic wear. Is your Instagram feed flooded with celebrities and influencers wearing juttis. If the brands they wear are way out of your budget, shop from the street. With pretty embroideries and edges full of ghunghroos, for INR 250, these juttis are a steal!

A lady can never have too many earrings. Shop for jhumkas, colourful handspun earrings, acrylic ones and more, for as low as INR 50! The stalls here This stall also has studs for those who don’t like anything dangling off their ears. But we’re in love with the large collection of jhumkas here. You can also dress your hands and feet with cute rings and anklets. Rings, big and small either studded with fake pearls and stones start at INR 50. You can also get anklets with beads and charms starting at INR 100.

Decked with sequences, patchwork and embroidery, you will also find bags and wallets starting at INR 150. Our favourites are the ones with elephant prints and bright coloured embroidery work. They also have jholas and potlis

Pro-Tip
