Pune gets yet another food truck, and this time it’s on the busiest part of the city – Fergusson College Road. Also, the first in the area {and Deccan, in general}, Street Stopper is already creating a buzz with its four lip-smacking signature dishes.

Just about a week old, Street Stopper is the brainchild of three friends {Abhijeet, Nishikant and Bhagyendra}, who say this food truck is more of a passion than a business to them. Located right opposite New PPC Stationery, behind Hotel Roopali lane, the best thing about Street Stopper is that they haven’t overdone with their food menu.
They offer four dishes, that are yum, affordable and extremely unique. Their pav bhaji bomb is perhaps, one of the most distinctive dishes. Priced at INR 90, the pav bhaji bomb is quite similar to a chocolate lava cake. The difference is instead of a dessert, this one’s a belly-filling appetizer. They stuff the pav with homemade bhaji {or the curry}, a special secret sauce and mozzarella cheese, and let it bake for some time. Pretty awesome, right?
Another dish we loved was their peri peri potato tornado with just the right amount of crisp and spice. In the end, wash down your food with either a glass of cold coffee or green apple lemonade.

We hear they will be introducing ice cream sandwich and pizzas on their menu soon.
