Matheran

Matheran is also the only automobile-free station in all of Asia, so find a horse to ride if you're tired of walking.
Panchgani
We couldn't leave this crowd favourite hill station out! Panchgani is a 3-hour drive from Pune and you can also get there by public buses for INR 350-400. Explore the main market, indulge in activities like go-karting, zip-ling, paintball and much. You should also check out tableland and Sydney point for the most breath-taking views. You can either book an Airbnb or stay at the Zostel for INR 800 a night. Don't forget to visit the Cheese Factory - a little head from the market road- where you can see how chocolates and different types of cheese are made.
