Sign Up For A Fun Screening Of Wanderlust-themed Films In The Open Air This Weekend

You may have forgotten a movie experience in the theatre after the unfortunate events of 2020, but we're here to refresh that memory with a cinema experience that's bigger and better! Sunset Cinema Club and LBB are teaming up to host a movie night for you like it was meant to be, under star-lit skies in a picnic-style set-up of cosy tents, charming lights and an unparalleled vibe! 

That's right, Punekars, here's your chance to spend the weekend watching a series of wanderlust-themed movies on the big screen in open air. First up, on December 4 is the funny and charming, Midnight In Paris, a classic Woody Allen romantic fantasy set in Paris, starring Owen Wilson, a troubled screenwriter who travels back in time each night at midnight and his relationship with his fiancé, Rachel McAdams. On December 5, Sunday night, sign up for Lost In Translation starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. This one follows the fortuitous meeting of lonely, aging movie star Bob Harris and conflicted newlywed, Charlotte in Tokyo. Both movies center around a heartfelt and meaningful plot, with travel key to each storyline.

These movies will be screened on December 4 and December 5, 7pm onwards at SCC Republic, Republic Lawn, Pune. Set to take place at SCC Republic, Republic Lawn that has a sprawling open air space, you don't need to worry too much about being in a closed space with others. You can expect to lounge on a mattress or chairs. But it’s on a first-come, first-served basis. Do take umbrellas and blankets for added comfort, remember, it's winter too.

Masks are mandatory during the screening. Food and beverage will be on sale at the venue, stuff from outside isn't permitted. Gates open at 7 pm and the movie starts at 7.30 pm.
