After a long, great run in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, the most sought-after brand for perfectly fitted men's shirts, Bombay Shirt Company (BSC) has found its way into Koregaon Park's Lane No.1, opposite Sante Spa Cuisine.

What Makes It Awesome?

The brainchild of Akshay Narvekar, BSC is the epitome of a well-fitted, tailor-made shirt. The brand specialises in stitching shirts that not just fit like a glove but customises them exactly the way you would want it. Every tiny detail is taken care of; from fabric, to your choice of button, thread colour, shoulder patch, cuff, collar and even a personalised monogram if you'd like. It's all about client's demands and attention to minor details at BSC.

We were absolutely blown away by the choices they had to offer - 14 kinds of collars (that includes everything from polo to bandhgala, club and spread), fine fabrics like Egyptian cotton, denim, flannel and prints on linen, sourced from mills in India, Europe, Turkey and Japan, great range of suede leather for patches and much more.

As a client, your job is pretty simple. Visit the store, try out a sample shirt, choose your fabric and accessories, give your measurements and get your shirt made within 14-21 days. What's even more impressive is BSC doesn't levy making charges which means you only pay for the fabric and other additions that you make on your shirt. Now, how cool is that?

Apart from this, Bombay Shirt Company also sends a travelling stylist and a master tailor to your doorstep, in case you don't have time to drop by the store. Having said that, we would recommend you visit the store for the sheer experience. It's a wonderfully done up space, spread across 400-square-feet with subtle pastel hues, luxurious wood finish, full-length glass windows and one trial room.

What Could Be Better?

Since we loved the shirts they make, we wished they'd also made trousers, t-shirts and suits.

Pro-Tip

While you might think Bombay Shirt Company does only men shirts, what you don't know is they also customise shirts for women too. Yes, that's true!
