The year 2017 has seen some amazing restaurant and club launches in Pune, but nothing quite like Coco - Sushi & Bar. Yes, Coco – Sushi & Bar, the first member’s only club in the city, located at Onyx tower and owned by the effervescent Kunal Mhaske.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am not talking about some regular night club but Coco, which is far more prestigious, actually requires a membership and is definitely the buzz of our beloved IT town. Money and lineage are usually the tickets in, as well as a hefty dose of social capital.

The food is influenced by a lot of different flavors, but predominantly from Japan with traces from all across south-east Asia. It was a great experience at Coco and throughout the night the dishes showcased great innovative thinking in both technique and execution. The dishes were refined, neatly plated and very well balanced. A few of my favorites include Beijing duck thong, pop chicken sushi roll, seafood suimui, California sushi roll {Veg} among others.
