One of the most legendary restaurants in Pune (open since 1971), The Place is like the godfather of sizzler eateries in the city. From steak to seafood – and everything in-between (pork, poultry, veg, paneer) – they serve around 40 varieties of sizzlers on their menu. One thing you won’t find at other sizzler eateries is their Goan-specialty sizzlers: cafreal and balchao with the protein of your choice. One of our favourites is their chicken piri-piri shashlik for INR 400, and another is their pork chops with BBQ sauce for INR 500. Almost all the sizzlers are served with rice, loaded with thick-cut potato chips and sauteed veggies. We also recommend their home-made ice creams (anjeer-walnut/apricot/mango) for dessert.
