Kathputli Lounge is a happening place to hang out with friends and relaxes from the hectic life. The ambience is lit with many wall hangings and quotes framed on the wall.
They have 2 floors. The ground one is spacious and has a decent seating area with both dim and bright lights. They have a bar section in the ground floor. Also, they serve hookah. The upper floor had a small seating area with a nice pub-like ambience. There is no separate dance floor as such. But the ambience here will surely drive you again to visit.
Staff are courteous and everything was delivered on time. Service was fast.
Started with a few mocktails :
➡ Apple Peach Tini
➡ Kiwi Green Blast
➡Watermelon Cooler
My personal favourite was Kiwi Green Blast because it had a perfect blend of Kiwi and Lemon together. It was refreshing and the taste was balanced.
Then we headed towards some appetizers with the flow of soothing music.
➡ Paneer Achari Tikka - Large Paneer cubes tossed with achaar and spices and served with Pudina Chutney. It was delicious and the taste was balanced with no excess achari flavour.
➡ Chicken Bombs - Small fried chicken balls stuffed with chicken and cheese. It was crunchy and the taste was good
➡ Salt and Pepper Crispy Corn - Sweet corns fried well which were crispy outside and soft inside. Overall the taste was great.
➡ Fish Fingers - The star dish of the day and my personal favourite. Large cylindrical fish pieces fried well with breadcrumbs and served with mayo was indeed a perfect combo. The fish was soft and fresh so also cooked well. Loved its texture and taste.
After such a heavy starter meal we headed towards a light main course.
We had Naan, Butter Chicken and Paneer Laziz. Both the main course dishes were up to the mark and nice in taste. Loved them.
Then to wind up we had Choco Lava Cake with ice cream. Trust me it was one of the best I had till date. It was super yummy and lavafull.
In a nutshell, it was indeed a nice experience. It is a worth visit place for ambience and food. You can hang out there with friends or large groups and enjoy.
