Being a huge misal person, I was looking for a new place to have misal around Pune. So after searching for a while I eventually landed in Hotel Mahalaxmi, located in Kothrud.
After going through the menu I came across a dish that said Dum Misal, being a person who loves eating new things I decided to order it for everyone that was there with me.
The Misal was beautifully served in cute little clay pot. The pot consisted of farsaan, cooked moth beans {Matki}, and some misal gravy. The plate had of fresh soft paav, small bowls of Dahi {curd}, Misal gravy and chopped raw onions, and jalebi. You can ask them for extra gravy and they'll happily give you a small bucket full of it.
You can also add some buttermilk to wash off the spicy flavours. The dish is very reasonably priced at INR 80.
