What Makes It Awesome

Take a trip across the globe in seven glasses with this value-for-money margarita festival at Chili's American Grill & Bar in Phoenix Market City Mall. Confused? We were too when we first heard about it. How else do you experiment with margaritas? Well, it turns out at Chili's you can with exotic ingredients like Kashmiri saffron, umami soy all the way from Japan, Italian espresso powder and more.

The margarita festival {till April end} features seven extraordinary concoctions from seven countries - Guac-o-molly from Mexico, pomegranate and mint margarita from Australia, sour curry margarita from Africa, sweet saffron margarita from India, coffee-rita from Italy, umami soy margarita from Japan and the meat lovers' fave- bacon barbecue margarita.

Coming to our favourites, we particularly loved the sweet saffron margarita. The drink has an intoxicating fragrance and taste of Kashmiri saffron, blended in Don Angel tequila and Chili's in-house sweet and sour mix. Priced at INR 599, order this beauty if you love your poison sweet and mild. Up next, is the coffee-rita that'll take you on a tipsy tour down the lanes of old Italy. Sweet yet bitter, mild yet strong, this one is crafted especially for the coffee aficionados. The drink is a flavoursome mix of espresso powder, a dash of caramel syrup, Don Angel tequila, Old Monk and Kahlua.

Love the idea of bacon, then how about a drink that tastes like one? No, it's not at all bad. Albeit, it's definitely not for vegetarians! Much to our surprise, the bacon BBQ margarita from the United States struck the right balance between the meaty after-taste and the tinge of sweet and spicy flavours. Served with crispy bacon strip on top, order this one with a side of Chili's Texas smoky nachos.

What's My Pro Tip?

Pair your margarita with their all-new food menu featuring mouthwatering delicacies like bacon and cheddar steak, crispy seafood trio, fiery pepper served with home-made ranch and honey-chipotle chicken on Belgian waffles. We, however, couldn't get over their well-cooked pork ribs in sticky BBQ sauce, served with corn, veggies and sour sauce.

We also recommend you must try their Guacamole burger made with buffalo meat, Monterey Jack cheese, fire roasted jalapenos, caramelised onions, cumin and lime sour cream. For desserts, don't look beyond the molten chocolate cake, which is perhaps the largest one we have seen so far. This decadent sweet dish is served with vanilla ice cream, spongy brownie and hot melting lava, and is sufficient for two or three people, depending on the appetite.

Anything Else?

The best thing about Chili's is their impeccable hospitality. While every staff member out there was extremely courteous, Mr. 'Amazing' Alfred {as they call him} particularly caught our attention for his humour and friendly nature. He was our server and we hear {from the management} guests specifically visit Chili's just to get served by him!
