62-year-old eatery, Kalyani Bakery at Camp has been asked to shut shop by the Pune Cantonment Board {PBC}. The verbal order issued by the board stated that the establishment was conducting business without a valid trade licence since 2006. According to a PCB executive, Kayani has violated the lease agreement and has not applied for change of purpose to commercially run its shop.
Kayani Bakery, Kwality & Bagban In Camp May Be Shutting Down
What's The Issue?
Anything Else?
Two other restaurants on Camp, Kwality and Bagban have also been charged with the same suit and have been asked to down their shutters.
The officials of the board confirm that these three eateries come under cantonment’s bungalow area. What does this mean? Central government had rented out this area on the basis of a long lease. However, the lease or the trade license were not renewed by the establishments.
So, We're Saying...
We can’t imagine Camp without Kayani, Kwality and Bagban. Hope the legal matters get sorted pretty soon.
