What Did I Like?

Located at Lane 6 in Koregaon Park, Mr. Vandal is an eatery celebrating the versatility of street food across the globe. But we'll get there in a while.

What we love the most about Mr. Vandal is the interiors. We could almost feel the happiness in the place - the outstanding wall art with quirky texts, flashy hues and psychedelic doodles, the seating arrangement with yellow bulbs shining bright and the peppy music to lift up the mood. Mr. Vandal is a kind of place you visit on a gloomy day, trust us.

The food, of course, is brilliant and worth every penny. The concept is to bring the best of global cuisines under one roof- from Italian trapizzinos to Bombay pavs, Mexican tacos, Mediterranean wraps and Asian rice bowls, they've got it all to spoil you for choices.

We ordered the pulled sriracha chicken trapizzino, which was almost like a pizza-cum-sandwich served in a triangular pocket bread. The chicken filling was made with a greasy hot sauce or paste of chilli peppers and garlic. It also had a mild sweetness to it, so if you love your food extra-spicy with a tinge of a sweet aftertaste, this one's a must-try. Up next were the mouthwatering southern fried basa tacos, which were a delicious combination of creamy mayo, roughly chopped veggies, spicy jalapeños and of course, soft fish fillet.

We also loved Mr. Vandal's chef-special balsamic chicken wings. We thought that the presentation of this dish was quite interesting. Each chicken wing was stuck to an end of a metal skewer, which was then placed inside a hole of a wooden box. In total, there were about six wings. Taste-wise, it tasted of vinegar and honey; and the chicken was served piping hot {it was extremely juicy}.

For our main course, we tried the Thai basil beef bowl. It was light, full of fresh minty flavours with well-cooked chunks of meat to fill your belly. We ended this beautiful meal with some decadent chocolate mousse in a jar and tangy mango pannacotta. We hear Mr. Vandal's Nutella churro is one the bestsellers and not to be missed. And, if you've tried it already, let us know your verdict in the comments section below.

Anything Else?

We are definitely heading back here again for the great vibes and budget-friendly grubs. Hope to see you there!
