We Went Shopping For INR 5,000 At Westend Mall & Here's What We Bought

Westend Mall at Aundh is one of Pune’s largest and most popular malls. And what better way to start the year than shopping, right? Considering there’s an ongoing winter sale at the mall, we think this is the best time to head out and grab all the amazing loot. To make things easier, we decided to go take a look ourselves, and with just INR 5,000 in our wallet, here’s all that we managed to buy.

If you’re the sorts who like free-spirited, beautiful, boho-chic outfits, and then Global Desi has got to be your most favourite brand. They have an ongoing 50% off, so this is definitely the best time to be here. We bought a lovely maroon and grey maxi dress which fits like a dream. Perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch or date night at a cafe, this dress is a total steal for INR 1,750. We completed the look with a cute block printed bag for INR 500.

Beauty and fashion go hand in hand. Keeping that in mind, how could we have walked past The Body Shop? With racks full of shower gels, body mists and aromatic soaps, we got our hands on a unisex hairspray for INR 899. Besides its soothing aroma, this hairspray is made of rain forest extracts that de-tangle your hair, making it manageable. If you’d like a good hair day every day, then this one’s a great buy.

We all know that there’s no getting over our love for H&M and their collection. We bought a layered neckpiece at INR 699, to add that little dose of bling to our outfits. We also saw some simple and comfy cardigans for INR 799 {in case it’s a bit chilly and you need something over the dress}.

To complete the look, we bought a cute pair of lacy ballerinas for INR 750 from Shopper’s Stop. They’re presently running a 50% off on boots and funky slippers, in case you’d like to skip the cutesy footwear and opt for something else.

We bought a stellar pair of earrings from a small kiosk right next to Global Desi. Priced at INR 450, these are an amazing find. We think it’s a great addition to your existing collection because they go equally well with dresses, sarees, cotton kurtas and pretty mch anything else.
