Yakii Asian Tapas Club is truly a treat for your eyes and tastebuds! The newly opened club in Deccan explores umami-infused global cuisines with a flavourful Asian twist.
Dressed in natural tones, Yakii will put you at ease as soon as you enter. The extravagant 170-seater club, with indoor, alfresco, and bar seating, recreates a desert-like atmosphere with liberal usage of wood, bricks, and other rustic materials. Splashes of greenery spread around the club further enhance its earthy vibe. Envisioned by Hrishikesh Baravkar and Shashank Shirole, the creative mind behind the club, Yakii promises a meticulously curated menu and an opulent dining experience that will leave you craving for more.
Curated by Chef Ameya Mahajani, with over a decade of experience, the food menu is an innovative blend of small and large plates, masterfully prepared over live heat on robata grills. The result? A medley of flavours that will tantalise your taste buds. Of course, the menu features dim sum and sushi but with a twist. The California roll includes stir-fried veggies, and the Dragon roll has a rainbow of veggies. We weren't expecting the menu to feature tacos and pizza, but it was a good surprise. The dessert menu, although small, has equally stunning options.
And what's a gastronomic journey without the perfect libations? Yakii's artfully crafted drink menu complements and hits all the right spots. The Masu Supaisu Fashioned brings banana, spices, and a hint of smoked cherry to create a flavourful and unique tipple. The Guava Tinkle will bring back childhood memories of eating fresh guavas with chilli salt, but this time with a dash of vodka.
