Established in 1958, Golden Vada Pav on Mumbai-Pune highway is perhaps the most sought after street-food joint in Lonavala. There is no doubt about its popularity. At any given time, the place is crowded with patrons while the staff fries fresh vadas in front of them. That is a definite winner for us - a plate of scrumptious batata vadas, stuffed between two soft pavs, served with homemade chutney, for just INR 17. So, what makes them outrageously famous?
