Mama's Kitchen, a new entrant to the food space of Hyderabad which has started its operations a couple of months back, serves some great Andhra cuisines. It's located on the most popular Road no. 36 in Jubilee Hills area, sharing the same building as Repete Brewery.
Coming to their menu, they have an exquisite range of Andhra dishes ranging from Vepudus, some tasty Plus & Dosas to healthy Ragi Sangat is along with a good range of North Indian preparation as well.

However, we visited this place for trying out their buffet menu which is available to all at an affordable price for both Non-veg & vegetarians. Starting with appetizers, we got Kodi Vepudu, Tawa Fish fry & Chapala vepudu; Tawa fish fry had the right amount of marination done with an apt balance of spices with a juicy fish pieces, not to forget the Kodi vepudu had the chicken fried chunks averagely placed in terms of the spice levels as it should have hit a higher note. Even the Medu vada along with chutney went quite well as they had a crispy texture, quite evenly fried.

Moving onto the mains, we got the popular combo of Ragi sangati & Chapala pulusu which was just got better with each serving we consumed. Even they have few pulaos like Kod Pulao, Tomato rice & others which are the top picks from the menu. Gongura Royalla was another dish, a semi-dry preparation of prawns tossed with spices which tasted great. Ending the fare with desserts, they had Semiya Payasam, Gulab Jamun & ice-cream, all of which were nicely done however, the presence of authentic Andhra sweet dishes was missing which can be added up.

To sum up, at such an affordable price Mama's Kitchen is offering a never before seen Andhra food buffet which is a must-try, all set to fulfil the taste buds of the people of Hyderabad.
