How Many Of These Gaming Arcades Have You Checked Out With Your Gang?
Smaaash
A place for kids, a place for adults, Smaaash is a place for all! It's a huge space with a food court and bar inside. But chuck that, let's talk games. One of our favourite pass time is to go bowling here, play cricket or try score some at Football but that's not all. There are several arcade games here that will easily make your spend hours on it. We're talking about classic ones like Deal or No Deal, all the bike and car racing simulators, shooting games like Jurassic Park to virtual rollercoasters. Not to forget, air hockey and the ball and hoop game. So much to do? There's also Zorbing, Zip Lining, 4D theatre and VR section with games that keep changing almost every week. Cool, right? All you have to do is buy, recharge the Smaaash card and swipe it on whatever game you want to play.
Pro-tip: There are two Smaaash's in the city, Nexus Mall and Inorbit Mall
Busters Gaming & Bowling
Did you know Punjagutta's Next Galleria Mall has a kick ass gaming zone? Busters is the place to go if you want to experience the OG arcade games that you play on your phone, IRL. Once you're done beating high scores in Road Rash (no kidding), Fruit Ninja, Subway Surfers and Temple Run, check out VR, Spin & Win, box football, and Pirates of Caribbean. Need to spend a little bit more time? Queue up for bowling and dashing cars and call it a day.
Hall Of Game
A premium gaming destination and some might say the biggest also, Hall Of Game in Kompally is bound to make tire you out after a good play of fun and play. They have more than a 100 games and everything set under a neon light is a vibe. While the little ones play in the ball pit, you can experience the 360degree VR space travel and an indoor roller coaster ride. Want something light? From fishing to typical mario-like arcade games, they have consoles for small and cute games. We can't name all 100+ games, obviously, and that is your cue to check it out yourself.
Timezone
One of the first big malls in Hyderabad, GVK One had all of us young millennials in a chokehold with its gaming centre. Not only was it a happening date spot back in the day, it was a full-day plan with friends and family. It has your classics ball and hoop, racing simulators, air hockey and more but we especially love that bowling here doesn't involve long waits.
Pro-tip: They are known for having affordable birthday party packages for kids, check that out.
Tridom
Seventh floor of Sarath City Capital Mall transforms into a land of all things amazing, and we enjoy every single time. Apart from the usual, Tridom has super interesting games and experiences like Jurassic Park, Walking Dead, Air Racer, Disk O Coaster, Super Spin and a 130 feet high drop tower called Sky Tower. Racing fans, you can drive like Dom on the Fast and Furious set up or race your friends on a Harley Davidson, video game of course.
Pro-tip: A little further from Tridom, the mall also has Fly Zone for trampoline fun, Snow Kingdon, PP Karting, Scary House, Mystery Room and a bowling alley.
Area 51
Prasads Multiplex, a landmark in Hyderabad has Area 51, a sci-fi themed immersive VR gaming center and it's exciting. They've got 15+ experiences and more than a 100 games including action, puzzles and horror. The highlights? Call of Duty WWII, Tekken 7, Robo Rumble and escape walk. The place looks super futuristic and the vibe is straight out of Tron. They also have a cafe that makes for great pictures under the neon lights.
