Shilparamam in Hitech City, an arts and crafts village in Hyderabad is the perfect spot for you to shop the best of Indian handicrafts and apparels. It's open every day from 10:30 AM to 8 PM and you can literally find everything here - from unique gifts to quirky home decor and jewelry. We were filling up our shopping bags recently and these are all the things we found.

Kalamkari jackets or simple printed ones, your wardrobe needs these essentials right away. We got ourselves the Kalamkari one with Buddhas printed on it, and we’re loving it. Add your own twist of fashion by pairing one of these with a crop top and a pair of jeans. These are priced at INR 350 each.

We spotted these printed dupattas with colourful lace borders. Get your chikankari game strong by pairing these dupattas along. Priced at INR 450 each, we are guilty of getting these home.

After all that shopping, how does some chaat or jalebi sound? Past the above mentioned stalls, there's an area dedicated to munchies and it has great snack options to recharge. South Indian tiffins, french fries, softy ice creams, you can have all of those items with INR 500. That's a steal!

Have more time to kill? We get it! It's only natural to feel like spending more time at Shilparamam. After shopping and eating, you can indulge in a relaxing boat ride and chit chat while rowing it yourself. Yes! You will be behind the paddles and it's just good fun. Added bonus if the weather is breezy. It will only cost you INR 30 per person and it's open till sunset.
How To Reach Shilparamam & Entry Fee
If reading this got you excited, here's how you can plan the journey to beat the traffic. You can obviously take a cab but the faster way to reach is via the metro. The nearest station is Hitech City metro station and it's a brisk 5 minute walk from there. The nearest bus stop is the Shilparamam Bus Stop.
