At the counter, you’ll find an assortment – whether it’s the cupcakes or cheesecakes, they are designed so we can feast on them. Get spoilt for choice with Bailey’s Pannacotta, Vanilla Choux Bun, Chocolate Marquise, Éclairs, and more. Take a pick between Tiramisu or Russian Medovick (or both) and ask for a Bailey’s Latte. If you’re unable to choose, take help from the good folks behind the dessert bay. Although whipping sweet treats is their forte, we also love their range of teas which you should absolutely try. The Rosa Smoothie is an epic blend of orange, watermelon, strawberry, raspberry, and rose petals. If you got no sweet tooth, you still got nothing to worry. Gorge on a not-so-sweet Almond Croissant instead.
With large parking space and an outdoor patio welcoming you, walk into their indoor space and get cloaked in the bittersweet aroma of coffee and treats. Their Espresso machine – a monster in its own right – has come all the way from Milan apparently, and matches the colour palette of the patisserie which is neatly done in pastel blue and pink with a lovely golden tint. The minimalistic interiors stand out with free-flowing light rushing in. While most of the decor is inspired by European and Scandinavian architecture, it still reflects the personal touch of Swati Upadhyay, Sahil Taneja (the husband-wife duo that conceptualised Conçu) and their delightful team.
What Could Be Better
The staff puts on a grumpy face on most of the days. Not sure if they are having a bad day, but it's one thing Conçu can vastly improve.
Pro-Tip
Their Italian restaurant, Conçu Cucina, opens at 7pm. With a beautiful outdoor seating that has high tables and dainty lights, this one calls for a fine Chicken Cannelloni or Fried Fish & Truffle Fries. Do check out the indoor seating where you can gawk at the dessert bar (Russian Medovick or cupcakes, anyone?) and get bae and yourself some delicious hot chocolate too!
