What Makes It Awesome?

You have been searching for the diamond all over the place but not in your home. Captain Cook is the correct place for this. Saying I was not having any hopes at all on this place till I had the food. After having their food my mind completely changed. Captain cook is nestled in the lanes of Musheerabad which is popular for their Biryani and their Irani chai. These days which restaurant is not famous for Biryani you say. But once you taste here you would say YES.

The Ambience of the place is decent with nice sofa seating. We were here with my fellow food bloggers to try their food. We started with Appetizers

APPETIZERS:-

We had started with "Murgh Malai Tikka" the chicken was properly cooked and you can feel the malai hitting the palate. The Chicken was ok if it was a little bit marinated it would taste next level. Next was "Lemon Chicken" chicken marinated and deep-fried till we get golden and then tossed with local masala and lemon to get the flavour. This tasted good. Next was "Grilled Chicken" the bird was cooked perfectly with all the spices. Next came in the star of Appetizers "Mixed Non-Veg Platter" which consists of Chicken, Mutton, Fish & Prawns. This was a kind of heaven with flavours. Even the "Veg Manchuria" was very good. You can give a try.

Main Course:- In the Main course we tried the Captain Cook Special "Butter Chicken" this one is worth a mention, Generally if you order a Butter chicken you get an Orangish gravy with nicely tossed Chicken. But over here you get the Yellow Colour gravy which changes the taste and your belief. Even the consistency is very different from other restaurants. If you are coming to Captain Cook, this dish must be in your Bill. Next worth a mention is "Dum ka Mutton Curry" this one was also very good with a rich consistency of masala and everything and the best part is the mutton being so tender. Now coming to the Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani. The Biryani was so perfectly cooked that you can feel the essence of Saffron and ghee. The meat was also tender enough to get the exact taste. The Biryani was amazing.

Now coming to the Star of all Dishes is the Irani Chai. This was the best chai I had in recent times. Not a big fan of Irani chai, but this one has my heart.
