Tuck Into Nigiri & Uramaki At This Restaurant That Brings Japan To Jubilee Hills
Shortcut
What Makes It Awesome
Hashi in Jubilee Hills is largely defined by subtle pink and grey hues. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice an open sushi bar, bijou seating area, and minimalistic decor. Savour the wafting aroma and go through the menu which has a fine mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies.
We tried the Broccoli and White Fungus Salad and quite liked its texture — if you enjoy tangy food, this one is for you. What arrived next were Avocado Smoked Cheese Nigiri and Asparagus Tempura Uramaki — visually delightful and delectable. Breaking this trance, an assorted dim sum basket was presented to us and we demolished it under seconds. This comes with 12 pieces of dim sums that include broccoli and water chestnut, spinach and cheese (So good!), corn and zucchini, crunchy vegetable.
Onto the mains — Massaman Curry with Jasmine Rice was a perfect wind up. This Thai curry with a twist went well with the fragrant rice and it stood out for us. So, if you're on the hunt for some Japenese food, get here. While you're there, strike a conversation with Nishita and Sandeep, who run the place. They'll be happy to suggest the best on the menu.
What Could Be Better
We'd love some desserts and more drinks on the menu.
Pro-Tip
Hashi also has an outlet inside The Joint in Banjara Hills.
