Think of Punjabi cuisine and you will think of one of the most comforting arrays of foods we have. The Rajma Chawal that everyone craves for or the flavourful Sarson da saag that we want to hog on. The newly-opened Kukki Di Rasoi, amidst all the chaos and traffic in Kondapur, pulls you here for this sole reason.
This restaurant comes across as a place with a very calm vibe at noon but gets a bit busy in the evening hours. The name and menu surely drag you here, but the food can disappoint you a big time. We ordered a Special Mini Thali (average), Aloo Paratha (the mint chutney that accompanied made it better), Aloo Matar Tamatar (nope, don’t order this) and Sattu Sharbat. It is a compact restaurant with minimal interiors. The ambience does give you a few Punjabi feels but we wished the food was on the same track too. And did we tell you? It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant. You can surely check out this place if you stay somewhere nearby because try karne mai kya jaa raha hai? But we don't recommend you to travel distance and drop by.
