Isha Life by Sadhguru has a studio in Jubilee Hills with a restaurant — Mahamudra — in its complex and it serves Sattvic food. We quite enjoyed our dining experience and here's why you might like it too.

What Makes It Awesome
At Mahamudra, the music in the background, sweet service, and rustic ambience befall together to make your meal a pleasant one. The courtyard has elegant seating done up in white but the indoors are where all the magic happens. Right from the decor that reminds you of grandpa's home to the subtle aroma of food, Mahamudra, for a moment, will make you forget you're in Jubilee Hills. The food, however, isn't for everyone. If you like your food tangy or relish spicy flavours, this all-vegetarian affair might not appease your palate.
We revved our meal with Kollu Soup (A soup made from horse gram) which was served with crisps (With no bit of oil). We moved on to Mahamudra Special Dosa which had a generous stuffing on podi, cashews, and capsicum — gotta love it! The next was an Executive Platter that came with Akki Rotti, chutney, Salad, Kanji, Bisi Bele Baath (My god, so good!) and a dessert. The thali was a mix of dishes that made us go both ugh and whoa, and we recommend this only if you're looking for a quick meal. We ended our day with a cup of filter coffee. The menu is quite vast so we're absolutely visiting again.
What Could Be Better
The filter coffee could be stronger.
Pro Tip
The studio also has a crafts centre where you can buy beautiful dhoti pants, kurtas, palazzo pants as well as totes, hair and body care products. These are reasonably priced and worth checking out.
