What Makes It Awesome

Roughly 3 kms from IIT Hyderabad is this tiny place called Marley's Joint and no, it's not what you're thinking. It's the legal kind of a joint that has wraps that are nicely rolled. All puns aside, Marley's Joint is a shack smacked in the bylanes of Gachibowli with major Bob Marley vibes. Groovy reggae music, a big Jamaican flag, and a guitar for your jam sessions — if simple delicious food is all that matters and you don't mind a low-maintenance place, you will vibe with this joint. We say low-maintenance because well, there's no proper seating (barely a few stools). But we're glad the food makes up for that.

On that note, let's talk about food. It's a pretty concise menu but that's not a complaint. It's a vegetarian restaurant that has vegan varieties too and err..egg. They've got salads, wraps, rice bowls, and sandwiches that are inspired by Lebanese flavours. Also, kudos to them for prepping these dishes with healthy ingredients and ditching maida. We ordered Love From Lebanon, Shroom Addiction (a falafel and mushroom-based salad respectively with lots of fresh veggies and sauces), Lebanese Falafel Wrap, and Corn Cutlet Wrap. We totally recommend the wraps because they're made of whole wheat and fill you up with flavors.

If you're all about the spice, you can get the wraps made in three spice levels, not so spicy, medium spicy, and hot spicy. Of course, we went for hot spicy which was true to its name. Finish off your meal with Hot Oreo Milk while chilling there with the guitar. We'd not recommend you going there during the day when it's hot as a dessert, but it's worth it at night. But that shouldn't deprive you of their good food, so you can order online.
