House Of Dosas is a tiny outlet in Banjara Hills serving over 20 varieties of dosas. So if you’re looking beyond the regular plain or masala dosa, turn to this place and devour specials like Nutella Chocolate Dosa, Dry Fruit Dosa, and Double Decker Pizza Dosa. We ordered a plate of their best selling Erra Karam Dosa with Bombay Chutney and a Mexican Pizza Dosa. While we waited for our food to arrive, we couldn’t help but admire the mint green and wood furniture which gives this place a cute look. They have decoupage cups to hold tissues, and a wall dedicated to feedback on sticky notes. There’s a high seat counter to one side for your college squad to chat and eat, casually.
Our dosas were served in sustainable wooden plates, and we didn’t know what to expect with the first bite as the flavours are new. The Erra Karam Dosa was so spicy, owing to a layer of a secret masala and dipping it in the Bombay Chutney only made every bite better. The Mexican Pizza Dosa was cut to look like a pizza slice and had veggies like green and red pepper, onions, some cheese and a powdered chutney sprinkled on it. Both the taste of the dosa and the essence of the pizza are beautifully merged in this recipe but our favourite among the two is the Erra Karam. They also have a 916 KDM Gold Dosa (priced at INR 916), which is super unique. Go here for a wholesome breakfast or when you have late night cravings as this store is open till 1 am. Besides, you can also try idlis, Pongal & sambar rice here and pair it up with a glass of Nannari Sharbath. They also have a branch in Madhapur, so get to the nearest one and devour some dosas.
