New Egg World is newly opened food joint is just the place for you egg lovers out there. This food joint was started in Gujarat, and after being a success in the state with a couple of outlets, it was started here to give all egg lovers some egg-delicious dining experience! That's the reason why it advertises itself as a Surati Specialist, taking influence from one of the most popular cities of Gujarat: Surat. With numerous variations of egg dishes, this place has truly worked hard on its menu.
Throughout their menu, all their dishes are available in two variants, which are oil-based and butter based. This was one of the things we liked the best about this outlet because now the customers can customize their dishes based on their tastes and wants. Another thing we liked was how all the dishes they had on their menu had a desi touch to them, unlike other egg-based food joints which usually focus on serving dishes influenced by the western culture. Thanks to this desi touch, every dish they served was lip-smacking. Some of the dishes that we had and loved:
~ Lemon Black Omelette: Loved this combination, having tried it for the first time. The subtle flavour of the lemon complimented the omelette well.
~ Egg cutlets: Loved this starter, which had great flavours and was super soft and fluffy in texture.
~ Hum Tum: This too was a delicious dish, served with toasted pieces of pav. The flavours were just spot on and we loved it to the last bit.
~ Curry Pulao: Liked the green curry served along with the pulao. The flavours of the pulao itself could be improved a little, otherwise made for a good dish.
~ Dal Fry: This was a take on the daal dish, which contained a creamy gravy made of yolks instead of the usual lentils. The gravy was rich in flavours and was well cooked.
Overall, we had a great experience. What we loved the best about this place is how every dish they served had a spot on flavours! Each dish had a punch of flavours, and the textures were great in all the dishes. Even though the egg was the hero of every dish, it didn't overpower the taste and blended in beautifully with the other elements of the dishes. The ambience is pretty simplistic and would allure more bachelors. The staff is courteous, and this added to the overall experience.
