Making conscious fashion and lifestyle philosophies of life, Nicobar is an Indian brand that crafts Indian-inspired clothing, home decor, and accessories. We checked out its store in Banjara Hills and could not stop ourselves from splurging. There is nothing that speaks comfort better than slouchy stripe pants, Jodhpuri pants or slip dresses from Nicobar. With tropical prints that convince you it's still summer, we stepped into Nicobar and found ourselves in home decor heaven. We are talking about stunning teapots and cups made from stone and a wide range of dining essentials that include salad bowls, cheese knives, and coffee mugs.
Now, if you are a hoarder of home decor, we recommend grabbing those bell jar scented candles, turtle paperweights, and rhino bookends, but walk in a little further to spot vintage cameras and an aisle full of sequinned clutches, sling bags, and totes with slogans. Whatever is your whim and budget, these bags are sure to brighten up your outfit. Comfort casuals more of your thing? The bomber jackets, culottes, and breezy dresses and overalls will keep the fashion police away. But we're also loving the ethnic wear collection like sarees, kurtas, and blouses that are blingy but not too much.
Keeping the best for the last — if there is one section we recommend checking out, it's the jewellery section with charm bracelets, hoops, and pendants. Star anise, peanuts, cloves, and cardamom as pendants and charms are quirky and edgy, and if you are someone who cannot get enough of experimenting with wooden bangles or charm anklets, Nicobar has to be your go-to.
