Ironhill Cafe: Definitely one of our favourite cafes in town. With a beautiful ambience, this place is an ideal place for a date or spend a good time with your friends and family. It has both indoor seating and gardens seating and both areas have been designed and decorated really beautifully.
They've got a really good range of dishes, from starters to the main course to desserts. They've got some absolutely delish coffees, in both cold and hot brews.
Some of the dishes and coffee we loved are:
~ Veg Au Gratin: This dish was simply amazing. With fresh vegetables cooked in a rich gravy of butter and cream sauce, it was packed with beautiful flavours and was a delight for us cheese lovers!
~ Triple Cottage Cheese Steak: Another spectacular dish. It contains slices of fresh and juicy paneer, covered in a rich creamy gravy of cheese, mushrooms and bell peppers. The flavours and textures were spot on.
~ Spinach Corn Fritters: A fried dish, with some good flavours and a good crunch to it.
~ Maple Lady Pancakes: A stack of some of the fluffiest pancakes we've had. The sweetness was simply perfect and the Maple syrup complimented the dessert well.
~Toast Monster French Toast: This was the Gaby dessert of the day. The classic combination of French Toast with bananas and Nutella was well executed and the flavours were simply beautiful.
~ Nutties Frappe: This drink had our heart at the first sip. The consistency was amazing and the flavours came out really well. The hazelnut flavour was spot on, but the hero of the drink was that perfect blend of the coffee flavour.
This is a pretty new cafe, and in this short time, it has earned itself a good status in town for its delicious food, great ambience and good service.
