Alcazar Mall in Jubilee Hills is now home to Robo Kitchen – Hyderabad's first robot-themed restaurant. And OMG, we couldn't believe our eyes when we were served by robot waitresses.

What Makes It Awesome
Taking the game of themed restaurants a notch up and above, Robo Kitchen in Jubilee Hills is an exciting surprise. And one that we didn't expect. The pathway leading you to the restaurant is jazzed up with neon lights (We're thinking of some awesome Instagram pictures here) and the restaurant is dimly lit. Eerily dark with faint music blaring from the speakers, your first rendezvous with a robot is supremely fun. We were quickly shown to our table and an Android tablet was handed to us. We placed our orders from the tab, and in no time, the robots were whishing past other tables to serve us. Making a grand entry with music, the robots arrive in style (draped in silk scarves), and stand near your table. Feel free to serve yourself and tap exit on the robot. It zooms away only after wishing you a happy meal.
The menu largely consists of Indian, Indo-Chinese, Thai, and North Indian delicacies. We slurped down our Wonton Soup and polished our momos to the bits before moving on to Hunan Fried Rice. The spicy Chinese dishes left us wanting for more and knowing how pocket-friendly the prices are, we are going back to be served by the robots soon. When are you going, though?
What Could Be Better
We wish the restaurant offered some mocktails or cocktails. Also, go here for an experience rather than food, because the food is mediocre at its best.
Pro-Tip
Come 1pm or 7pm, the restaurant is super crowded, so reserve a table before you swing by.
