Conçu’s latest outlet in Sainikpuri reminds us of serene cafes in Goa or Pondicherry where one feels like time doesn't exist! Their decadent desserts are approved by Hyderabadis all over. Their menu includes all their signature desserts and more! The seating is large enough to accommodate your large group of friends for a fun time.

Locals swear by Roy's Pizzeria and their yummy thin crust pizzas. Run by Chef Vaibhav Roy who previously worked at several five-star hotels, he blends his expertise in the kitchen with his love for authentic Italian food. Expect to love everything on their menu, as their ingredients are imported, and made fresh in-house! 

Vegans, this one's for you! Cafe E'woke is a much loved cafe-plus-grocery store in Sainikpuri. We found mock meats, exotic spices, beverages, kombuchas and a zero-waste store for everyday essentials here. Their ambience is inviting with cute wall murals and affirmations. Head here for some super-yummy vegan food and imported snacks. 

Want to chill with your friends, or take your special someone out on a date? Or just want to relax by yourself in a quiet nook? No matter what your mood - W Cafe by Wich Way is the perfect spot! Complete with lively plants, cosy seating, yummy food and board games to lighten up your conversations, Wich Way is a must-visit on our list, especially on rainy days! 

If you're a gardening enthusiast or know someone in your life who is, a stop at Lorea Florist is a must! They stock exotic plants, quirky planters, bouquets, miniature gardens and lovely flowers for you to take home. From tiny succulents to elaborate planters - no matter what your aesthetic, you're bound to find something you love, here!

Got a thing for lovely dupattas? Head to Dupart! Their quaint store opposite Chai Kahani is sure to brighten up your mood with their unique designs. With unique block prints and a super efficient team that can tailor your clothes to perfection, Dupart is a fashion lover's haven!

If you love relaxing while playing a game of pool, table tennis or air hockey with your buddies, let us introduce you to Thunder Gaming Lounge. We found interesting games like foosball, chess, board games, carrom and a host of video games available on rent, here. What's more, a great time won't burn a hole in your pocket as their rental prices are pretty affordable. They serve soft drinks and snacks on request. You could even rent the entire space for an intimate time with your family or friends. 

If you're someone who loves to explore a place on foot, you'll love Sainikpuri. Complete with lush trees in every lane, the area is ideal for strolling around. While we have mentioned the best of Sainikpuri in this guide, you will also find many hole-in-the-wall cafes, eateries and boutiques, all within a tiny radius. If you're up for it, you could also play a game of badminton at the Defence Colony North Park or simply walk around to soak in nature. 

Right next to Chai Kahani cafe is a cute little store called Ruffles Home Decor. Their trendy and bright curtains first caught our eye, and we discovered other home decor like tablecloths, runners, doormats, placemats and bedsheets. We love that no two pieces in the store are the same, and you get to go home with something truly unique at affordable prices! They also have seasonal decor items for occasions like Christmas and Thanksgiving. 

If you're a 90's kid, love rock bands and a hearty meal - there's a good chance you'll like The Fat Cat Kitchen! While they routinely stock most of our favourite childhood candies like Phantom, Poppins and Coffy Bite, the place has also earned a good reputation for their juicy burgers. They serve special dishes like pork belly and chops which you'll have to order in advance. Don't forget to click a picture of the various bands decorating their walls, including The Beatles, Nirvana and Pink Floyd! 

Before the newbie cafes and restaurants set foot, it was Fifth Avenue Bakers that satisfied the cravings of many localities in Sainikpuri. The bakery is over twenty years old and serves up some mean Indian bakery-style burgers, puffs, cream rolls and more! Their mutton chops, sandwiches and cutlets take the prize for many loyal patrons. 

The Moula Ali Hill and the 400-year-old Dargah on top of it have been attracting tourists for decades. The hill is right in the middle of an accessible neighbourhood, and is relatively easy to hike up. You can drive up to a certain point on the hill and take the stairs up the hill for a visit to the Dargah. Head here to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets while appreciating the history of Hyderabad as built by its founders.
