What Makes It Awesome?

What is the most satiating meal you have ever had? For me, a plate of home cooked food is the best meal I could ask for. I bet, it's everyone's comfort food. In our hurry -burry lives we always miss the food which is prepared by mom, don't we? And, now I found a new place for all the people who miss that comfort food.

Mirchis is a fine-dining restaurant which serves authentic Telugu cuisine. Nowadays, the count of restaurants serving Telugu cuisine is really going down. Most of the restaurants are now only preferring for continental cuisines. This place has an amazing set of starters cooked in Telugu style. Their ambiance was totally eye-catching with 400 plants placed all over the restaurant & a metal made out of brass shaped in triangles are placed on the ceiling which was jaw-dropping. To be frank, ambiance was done aesthetically.

We started off with the mocktails, which were not appealing & tasted average. We ordered virgin mojito & sunshine, chocolate shake in which sunshine tasted good when compared to other mocktails.
.
And then, we went on to starters. Godavari prawns fry were presented in a good manner and taste spicy enough. Tawa chicken pakora was chewy with a hint of nice spices in it. Chicken lollipops were tasted fantastic, but the chicken was much more tender than it has to be. They really need to work on it. Mirayala royyala vepudu has more pepper in it. I totally loved the Andhra mamsam roast here. One shouldn't miss it when you are at mirchi's.

I always wanted to try their pulao's and finally, I have got a chance to taste them. Raju gari kodi pulao was such an amazing dish which is given by Mirchi ka salan & raitha. If you like spicy food, you can check it out. Even ordered ulavacharu biryani and surprisingly it was mind blowing & flavourful. I will definitely come again to just to try this. Because of the breakage of their tandoori batti, we didn't have a chance of trying their bread.

My mood went off, when I heard there were only two desserts available in the menu. Apricot delight was decent. We were given a pastry which is in the flavour of apricot. I can't say it is bad, but it is not that good. And one more dessert, double ka meetha was served hot but, it is not sweet enough & tasted awful.

How Much Did It Cost?

INR 3,000+
