What Makes It Awesome

Nestled inside a massive property in Jubilee Hills, The Chalet is a collaborative space where you can create, shop, and attend workshops. Founded by Tanya Rao, this space welcomes you to its retail zone as you enter. This sprawling cultural space is home to a coworking space, indie labels, and a gorgeous outdoor set-up. Under one roof, you'll apparel, snacks, home decor, sustainable products, and skincare range.

Spot indie designers and labels like Archana Rao Label, Aara, Bare Necessities, Polam Farms, Pickle Shickle, Maisha, Paper Heads sharing aisles. For those of you with green thumbs, shop your heart out at Paudhe Se Yaari — a garden store that specialises in quirky and custom plants. Give your kitchen a major facelift with the crockery or simply pick one of those paintings to add a burst of colour.

The ground floor features a workshop space, and with a mirror in one corner, it almost appears like a dance floor. This can easily accommodate 25 people, for a proper yoga sesh or an open mic. They're already hosting events and workshops on pottery, acting, soap making, etc.

The second floor is where you get to work out of — simple seating, a bookshelf, and yet another outdoor seating for you to plonk. As of now, there are dedicated desks for small teams that cost you INR 7,000 per month (per head), and bigger teams can opt for private rooms. There's also cafe — Bottega Artisan Coffee that you can hit up while you're here.
